AGM and Volunteer Celebration 3rd June 2026

We were delighted to welcome so many guests from across the community our parishes, organisations, partners and most of all our volunteers. This year we decided to hold the event in Volunteers Week, which gave us the opportunity to hear from our own volunteers, but also celebrate and recognise the power and value of all volunteers across the city.

We heard from a range of great speakers, who between them provided insight into the vision and plans, for health, communities with a shared the theme of the positive impact of people and communities being connected, through neighbourhoods and in us all being ‘Good Neighbours’.

Our speakers included:

Peterborough City Council: Esther Baffa-Isaacs: Public Health Prevention and Poverty Senior Manager

•NHS: Sara Bailey: Head of Integrated Neighbourhoods – North Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Care Partnership

•Nene Park Trust: Deborah Pearcey: Volunteer Officer & Gary Mason: Community Ranger

•Good Neighbours-Rural Peterborough: Connecting Communities - Michele Matthews: CEO, Volunteers and Beneficiaries

•Peterborough City Council: Stephen Taylor: Executive Director - Adults, Health & Commissioning
